The walled city of a dead kingdom, ringed by a forest of the dead.
Each player starts in their own district inside one unbroken city wall, with a gate facing their part of the Deadwood. Your starting food, gold and stone sit inside your district, but the rich mines lie outside the walls, where the survivors of every night gather at dawn. Wall your gate, tower it, and fight your way out by day to mine.

Dead farmland, then the Deadwood. Two large gold and a large stone per player in clearings beyond your gate, 120 to 215 from your start, with every night’s survivors camping on them.
Your king starts beside your town center, inside the walls. If a zombie kills a king, a zombie king rises where it fell and holds that ground for the rest of the match.
Starting villagers scatter across the whole map, some into clearings in the Deadwood. Race for a district inside the walls, or settle outside with the guardians.
The picture is drawn from the map’s own script for four players, so it shows the real layout, not a screenshot. The game adds the starting resources and places each tree itself, and the layout scales with the lobby. The map is available now. Subscribe on its official mod page or find it in the Age of Empires IV mod browser, then select it with the Zombie Nights game mode and tuning pack.
